Spring is in the air, and Easter is the perfect excuse to bake something sweet and joyful! This simple Easter cake is a crowd-pleaser—moist, fluffy, and topped with a touch of festive flair.

  • Ingredients: 2 cups flour, 1 ½ cups sugar, 1 cup butter (softened), 4 eggs, 1 cup milk, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, a pinch of salt. For decoration: pastel sprinkles, whipped cream, or mini chocolate eggs.
  • Instructions:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan.
    • Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
    • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, alternating with milk. Stir in vanilla.
    • Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before decorating.
    • Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, or chocolate eggs for a festive finish!
